03 September 2007 | China, Hangzhou
At the airport of Hangzhou, I got picked up by my uncle and his friend. From there it was a 3 hour drive to his hometown called Linhai. The days in Linhai consisted mainly of family visits. The parents of uncle were the primary school teachers of my father. They asked me if I was interested to visit some local factories. As this was the kind business what Linhai is most famous for. Of course I couldn't refuse an oppertunity like this. One of the teachers old students works for the local government. He said that he could arrange any visit which I like. This was of course true because it was important for the local factories to be in good terms with the government. So they could impossibly refuse something like this. Isn't the chinese system just great?!
After my interesting days in Linhai, I moved on to Hangzhou.
